How to clear cache and data on your device

To clear the cache and improve performance stability, try clearing the data stored on the device by following these steps:

Note: When you are online, your device downloads many files so you can get the experience you expect from the websites and applications you use. Some of those files are cached on your device so you have a seamless experience. Over time, the cache can fill up, causing slower performance for a number of reasons. This is why it is a good idea to clear your cache regularly, especially if you are having trouble using Yojma TV.

Android phones and tablets

On some Android models, Yojma cached data can be cleared in Settings. Follow these steps:

  1. On the home screen, go to Settings. 
  2. Go to Applications> Yojma> Storage.
  3. Select Clear cache and Clear data.
Android TV

To erase Yojma stored data on Android TV, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings> Applications> Yojma 
  2. Select Clear cache and Clear data. 
Apple TV (all generations), iPhone, iPad

To clear the cached data from Apple TV, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Yojma app.


For Chromecast, follow the steps on your Android or iOS streaming device. 

To clear data and cache for Chromecast built-in apps, follow these steps:

  1. On the home screen, go to Settings.
  2. Select Applications.
  3. Select Chromecast built-in.
  4. Select Clear cache and Clear data.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Select Clear cache.
  7. Select OK.
  8. Reset the TV. 
    • To reset, press and hold the green power button on the remote for more than five seconds. 
    • Release the button when the TV screen turns black.
