How do I test my internet connection?
To test the speed of your internet connection and make sure it meets our recommendations, first select your device:
Computer and mobile devices
- Open your web browser.
- Go to speedtest.net.
- Select Start.
- Compare the results with our recommendations.
Smart TV´s
Samsung Tizen Smart TV
- Go to the Smart Hub internet browser.
- Type "Speed test" in the search tab and scroll to Start test.
- Press Enter on the remote.
- Compare the results with our recommendations.
TV LG
- Open the web browser in the LG menu.
- Search for speedof.me.
- Select Start.
- Compare the results with our recommendations.
If your streaming device doesn't have a built-in speed test app or a web browser, test your speed with another device while you are near the streaming device. Make sure you use the same internet connection.
